Gumpy Belfast Weeeeekender

Myself and GoldPeg were recently whisked to Northern Ireland to paint a bigtime jazzy puppy mural.

The sun was shining on those picking cherrys from the top.

Out of space fun up the bum,

and a bit of going round the bend.

Thanks to everyone that helped us out, Adam and Pedro from the Sunflower and all the other awesome people we met.

Jazzy Puppies!

Me and Gold Peg made a show this summer in Stoke-on-Trent. Stoke was very fruitfull, and alongside a very vibrant body of studio work we’d been making over the previous months, we filled the show with all the detritus and treasure from the exceptional selection of car boots, wastegrounds, and shut down chinese restaurants. A lot of the work wasn’t just about being looked at, and really the show was all about the opening night. For example I had hacked Streets of Rage and you were invited to duck into the savage wolf den to play it. Gold Peg had built a petrol gokart which needed some kind of inauguration ceremony: among other things it had a ceramic column and a watermelon tied on behind it, clearly designed for smashing. A goat was sacrificed. Cops were bribed. A great time was had by all.
